HOW LONG DO SESSIONS LAST?
That's entirely up to you! We aim to be as flexible with the client and the demands of the brief as possible. This means workshops can last anywhere from a 1-2 hour standalone session to weekly hour sessions for an entire school term. We advise that you contact us in order to determine which setup might work best for your particular client group.
IS THIS PACKAGE SUITABLE FOR YOUNG/OLDER SCHOOL AUDIENCES?
Absolutely! Working on the basis of client satisfaction our workshops are tailored to the specific participants we are working with. This means that workshops can cover or reinforce a variety of studied topics and spread awareness surrounding issues relevant to this particular client group. We also try to make our work as interesting and relatable to the audience demographic as we possibly can. Because of this, a workshop designed for a class of primary 1s is going to look very different from a workshop created for high-school leavers.
WHERE DO THESE WORKSHOPS TAKE PLACE?
Wherever you want them to! Here at TIElly, we value the importance of creating art in a location where the participants already feel comfortable. We believe that this addresses the common barrier to arts engagement realised by many young people. By removing the alien atmosphere of an assigned art venue, we allow for the focus of the activity to remain on the expression and exploration of the young people, rather than achieving the sophisticated and often intimidating standards of the professional arts world.
