Ellysse began her journey in Theatre in Education whilst studying her HNC in Acting and Performance at Fife College. After performing a TIE adaption of The Tempest, Ellysse developed a passion for applied theatre. Because of this, Ellysse spent her first year of university planning and delivering workshops for Primary Ones at Struthers Primary in Ayr.

 

Last year, Ellysse created an adaption of Romeo and Juliet with a purpose to educate audiences on Brexit. Her most recent project was producing and performing in  Stef Smith's Girl in the Machine, which was formatted to be suitable for a high school TIE tour.

 

Gaining confidence in her practice, Ellysse has decided to seek work within the sector, opening a solo theatre company in order to market herself as professional with the TIE field.
